Welcome to Strong Able Free. I’m Stacey Segstro, a personal trainer, and this is my strength and exercise coaching practice.

 

My mission is to transform people’s relationship with their bodies and with fitness through joyful, shame-free exercise that feels good, builds confidence, and increases ability.

EVERY BODY

My clients are people of all genders and ages who wish to optimize their physical ability while improving their relationship with their bodies and with exercise.

 

Whether working or retired, athletic, sedentary, or somewhere in between, Strong Able Free clients all share a desire to improve their enjoyment of life through effective, enjoyable exercise.

GET THERE WITH JOY

When we feel stronger, we feel better. Just a few of the goals I help people achieve include:

  • Improve mobility and muscle function

  • Improve activity performance

  • Prevent injury

  • Improve energy

  • Improve mood, memory, and mental focus

  • Prolong independent aging

  • Manage menopause symptoms

 

More importantly is how we get there: together, through creative strength building, joyful movement and effective exercise.

MY "WHY"

In childhood and youth, physical activity was my greatest source of challenge, accomplishment, connection, and fun. Working in the fitness industry changed that—it taught me shame.

 

Strong Able Free is a new way for me to serve. I am honouring my background as a Movement Educator and reclaiming the joy of effective exercise for myself and my clients.
